The Shree Shani Mandir of Wagholi is a stunning temple located at Wagholi near Nalasopara or Vasai. 
The idol of Lord Shani in temple is made from Black Stone. 

It describes God Shanaishwar is standing ahead of Black Bheinsa (male Buffalo). God Shanaishwar with four hands with sacred weapons as Trishul in upper right hand and Parashu in upper left hand and other two hands in Blessing posture. This idol is a major attraction of this temple. The regular and known form is Shani idol i.e. a black stone in particular shape is placed outside the temple. 
This Temple is constructed in May 2010 by Sri Jaywant Naik (Mama) by inspiration from Shri Shani dev. He made it possible to build the temple in 90 days after his decision to build a beautiful God Shanaishwar temple in Wagholi. The temple is built according to the Vastu Shastra so that highly spiritual and sacred atmosphere is created in and around the temple. The calmness of the area adds to the religious value. 
A beautiful and healthy natural environment is maintained in and around temple premises. In a very short period this temple became famous and popular as Prati (similar) Shani Shinganapur temple. Lots of devotees are now come here to get blessings of God Shanaishwar. The prayers and the Pooja of god Shani is considered as incomplete without offering him sesame oil, Black lentil (whole) or black sesame, rock salt and flowers. Devotees offer this favorite things to God Shanaishwar, gets the divine blessing and leave the place with satisfied and happy mind. 
Shani Jayani (Birthday) and the all Saturdays in Shravan Month are the major festivals of this temple.
